When your paid Moshi Membership runs out, your membership becomes a free Basic Membership. Two of your Moshlings will be available in your Basic Membership account. Along with any Moshlings you attract to your Basic Membership the rest of the Moshlings will still be in your Moshling Zoo if you ever again have a paid Moshi Member account.
How do you cancel your moshi membership?
You cannot cancel it while it is still in the period you are a member, but what you can do is click on membership and find where it says something like: cancel membership, to stop it keep renewing your membership.
What happens to the moshling zoo when you've used up your membership?

Your Moshi Monster can not run away, however, when your paid membership runs out, your moshlings will all disappear except 2. If you get a paid membership again the rest will still be in your zoo.
When you are a member on moshi monsters and it has expired do your colours still stay the same?
No I think they go back to your non-member colors. If you want to get your member colors back, just renew your membership. You might have to redo them at the Colorama, I'm not 100% positive, though.

when you loose you membership on moshi monsters, you still keep all your stuff and are left with two randomly picked moshlings. but you cant go to the port or other member stores and places.

There is a Basic Membership for Moshi Monsters which is free, but you will not be able to do all the activities or catch all the Moshlings. With a Basic Membership, you can get all of the moshlings except the ones that need a Snap Apple, a Crazy Daisy, or that are part of a Super Moshi Mission, or that need a Limited Edition Code for a specific seed. You can keep 2 moshlings in your house and keep one moshling in your backyard.Trial Membership: Moshi Members may still be able to buy a gift pack which includes gift cards which can be given to friends for a free three day membership. However, the code is a one time use only code.In some countries you can purchase Moshi Monster Time Cards(paid membership cards), so yes someone could purchase a membership card and give it as a gift. Some one could also purchase a membership for someone else - such as a parent paying for a Moshi Monster membership for their child.
