If you are a black person, the perm will straighten your hair. However, you can still get whatever hairstyle you want after receiving the perm except for an afro of coarse. If you are another ethincity, then the perm will curl your hair so most likely your hairstyle will be curly. I hope I answered your question.

Rule #1 : no wetting including washing & swimming 5 days before putting a perm in it. Also no wetting 24 hrs prior to applying the perm or the chemicals will not take to the hair and it woukd be a waste of time.

Really you would need to ask your hairdresser, but honestly i think you can but then your hair would be wet and loose it's perm so it's very pointless. It's best to wait at least 2 weeks after the perm before you dye your hair.
