Anything is possible when it comes to drivers' licenses. It also depends on the judge you get, as well. But from what I've researched on first offenses, they will probably give a large fine to pay, also tack on court costs, and possibly put points on your license. As far as suspension, I really don't think so..not if its your first offense. Word of advice though, get insurance! Try and avoid reasons to give the government more money than it already sucks out of us. Good Luck!b

Can you lose your drivers license for driving in Pennsylvania with a suspended registration?

Your driver's license will not be suspended in Pennsylvania if you have a suspended registration. A driver's license can be suspended for driving without insurance or if you get a DUI.

How do you get auto insurance for accident prone drivers?

You get auto insurance for accident prone drivers the same way as normal drivers. You will need to provide relevant car details and your driving history information and then receive insurance policy quotes. Insurance premiums for accident prone drivers are generally much higher.

What happens if other driver was at fault but l have license suspended and no insurance?

You will be punished for the violations that you have for driving with a suspended license and for driving without insurance. These punishments will be severe but vary from state to state. The violations on your part will not effect the fault of the accident and if the other party is truly at fault then their insurance company will pay for your damages incurred in the accident.

Can car insurance companies charge the passenger for the drivers fault in an accident?

No. The person driving is the responsible party.

What can happen if you do not notify your insurance company that you are driving under a suspended license and have had an accident?

They will probably try to deny coverage on your claim. Did you inform them that your license was suspended? Probably not, I imagine.

Will the other persons insurance pay if i got into an accident driving with a suspended license?

Insurance companies normally pay out according to who was "at fault" in the accident. A court may decide that breaking a traffic law, (driving while suspended), places you "at fault". If there is substantial money or additional traffic penalties involved you need a good lawyer to sort it out.

If your husband has his own insurance for his vehicle and you exclude him the insurance on your car will he be covered by his insurance if he was driving your car and had an accident?

You have to list the drivers covered to drive your car on the policy. If not he is not covered.

What if you were in an auto accident and you are not at fault but you do not have auto insurance in California?

If the other driver is at fault and has insurance, their insurance should still pay the claim. However, you may still face significant legal penalties for driving without insurance. Your drivers license may be suspended and your car may be impounded, and the cost of insurance when you get it (which you have to, in order to get your drivers license or your car back) will be much higher than it would have been if you had purchased it before the accident. You should probably consult a qualified attorney for advice on how to minimize the cost.

Can you get your car registered or get insurance if your license is suspended?

For your safety, wait till the suspension of your driving licence gets revoked. If you are already having a car insurance policy, and your car is entangled into an accident during suspension period, you wont get any insurance claim from the insurance policy. You may also be trapped into police interrogation for driving with a suspended licence.

If someone rear ends you and your license is expired but the car your driving is insured what will happen?

you will get a ticket and probably get your license suspended for longer and insurance will probably not cover the accident b/c you were driving with a suspended license but of course this is just one scenario

Drivers become subject to the liability insurance law when accident damages amount to?

You are subject to liability insurance requirements whether or not an accident occurs. An accident has nothing to do with liability requirements. You are required to have liability insurance of at least the minimum required by your state before getting into a vehicle and driving it. Driving is what triggers the law.
