Air molecules move faster in hot weather and slower in cold weather.
If pressure remains constant, then volume is directly proportional to temperature. Hot air is quite loud.
Fans rely on taking air from behind and pushing forward. If the fan is blowing air on a hot day then in reality you believe your being cooled but your actually not. Now say you prop the fan in front of a refrigerator with cold air then it would be cooling you off. It all depends on location of the fan.
Lightning can occur in any kind of weather, but most often occurs when cold and hot air collide, during hot and humid weather.
Tyres tend to loose more air in cold weather rather than hot!
no it can not it depends on ambiant temperature and wind if it is air cooled and a little longer if liquid cooled
Only hot air rises, so if the hot air was cooled..... it would fall. Splat.
t where the hot air is taken in and cooled.
An air cooled car will be lighter. The air cooled engine has a single thin walled engine block for air cooling just like an air cooled motorcycle or early VW Beetle. There is no antifreeze, radiator, water pump, hoses, etc, that a water cooled car would have. The water cooled engines have two walls (an inner wall for the pistons, etc, and the outer wall to hold the water) to help carry the water around the hot spots of the motor so you have twice the metal plus the weight of the water, etc. There's probably 200lbs to 300lbs savings.
Let it settle. You maybe fooled about the bubbles if your are checking it while the fluid is hot. At rest with the engine cooled down, there wouldn't be any bubbles. Check the coolant level when engine is cooled off and not running.
Turbo chargers are driven by the hot exhaust gasses from the engine. They also turn at incredibly high speeds, much higher than the engine itself. It is vital that the cooling fins, if air cooled, are kept clean and clear with an adequate air flow. If water cooled then the water temperature properly regulated
Air molecules move faster in hot weather and slower in cold weather.
The air cooled can be more efficient because they will use less energy. They are difficult to maintain if it stays too hot.
The air pressure goes down when cooled, goes up when heated. A soccer ball left outdoors in freezing weather does not have much bounce. Left outside on a hot day, has a lot of bounce.
We had the exact same problem with one of our vehicles. It would start when the engine was cool, but once the engine got hot it just shut down. It wouldn't start again till the engine cooled. The problem was fixed by replacing the module under the coil packs. It has to be tested while still hot to be able to determine if it's the problem, once that module cooled it tested just fine, but was bad. Hope this helps!
The Yamaha 350 Warrior is air cooled and has no temperature gauge. The engine runs at normal ATV and air cooled motorcycle engine temperatures. However, some Warrior riders have noticed it occasionally has a tendency to overheat. This is easily seen in the dark when the part of the exhaust closest to the engine starts to have an orange glow. If this happens, shut the engine down immediately and let it cool. In the daytime, this glow cannot be seen but you will notice sluggish performance at the throttle which is a similar sign. You can prevent overheating by sensible treatment and not overtaxing your vehicle especially in hot weather.
