Most likely, they won't. But it depends on the person. Usually they won't close up past 16mm or 5/8".

Depends on a lot of factors. Your genes, if you allowed the proper healing time between each stretching, your body's ability to heal etc. Some people are able to recover after a 00g, others aren't. But even if they don't close entirely, you could always get reconstructive ear surgery. Which is where they stitch/sew the remaining gap in your ear back together.
