If you shower daily and clean the piercing then you should be just fine. Keeping the piercing clean is important so if need be shower twice a day if you want to be on the safe side. Exotics heal very quickly (light heal in about 7 days) due to the increased circulation in mucous tissue, this allows the piercing to afford a light heal quite quickly. Showering will not harm the piercing and will actually promote the healing.

Tablesalt can irritate the piercing, and you should never use alcohol on a piercing, so yes. Stick to dial soap and water.

No, they don't. Generally any numbing substance is either going to mess with the tissue around the piercing, or mess with the blood flow causing it to bleed excessively. Neither option is preferable for the piercing.
