I had a problem with my 94 Acclaim wipers on one side.
The motor itself was good, but the locking nut that holds the wiper to the motor was stripped out.
Some lock-tite held the nut to the stripped bolt, problem solved!
Hope that helps!
get a wiper
Open the hood and all the way in the back attached to the bulkhead in the middle you will find the wiper motor.
the blower motor is accessible thru firewall engine compartment.below center wiper mech.inside a plastic housing.
The dalay board located on the wiper motor is defective.
Probably a bad bearing in the wiper motor.
You need to fold down the windshield. So undo the torque head screws on each side & fold forward carefully. The wiper motor sits right under the VIN plate on the windshield.
To install the wiper linkage on a 1993 Dodge Shadow, first, ensure the wiper motor is disconnected from the battery. Remove the wiper arms and any covering panels to access the linkage assembly. Align the new wiper linkage with the mounting points and secure it using the appropriate bolts. Finally, reattach the wiper motor and arms, and test the functionality before reassembling any remaining components.
No, there is not a fuel pump reset button on the 93 Acclaim. You need to check your fuel pump fuse under the dash of your vehicle.
AnswerI am replacing the wiper motor.. According to my mechanic that is the problem!
1. Detach the small hose/line carrying washer fluid from the nozzle on the hatch door 2. pull the wiper arm from the axel of the motor, remove the wiper (if it is rusty, use flat head screw drive to remove) 3. Insert the wiper into new arm 4. Press the new wiper arm onto the wiper motor axel 5. connect the hose/line to the nozzle
The 93 Acclaim has a serpentine belt. The tensioner below the alternator is what keeps the tension. If you have not tension I would replace the belt first and then check the tensioner.
The wiper motor on a 1993 Chevy G20 van is typically located on the driver's side, mounted under the hood near the base of the windshield. It is attached to the windshield wiper linkage and is usually covered by a plastic panel. To access it, you may need to remove this panel and possibly the wiper arms. Always refer to a repair manual for specific instructions and safety precautions.
