exactly where is the flasher relay
In a 1997 BMW Z3, the electronic flasher relay is located under the dashboard on the driver's side. Specifically, it can be found in the fuse box area, which is situated near the steering column. To access it, you may need to remove the cover of the fuse box. The flasher relay is typically a small, rectangular component that can be identified by its wiring connections.
Follow the wiring harness from your blinker. Disconnect the factory harness from the relay. Replace with the new relay.
The issue with your four-way flasher coming on when you activate the left or right turn signal in your '55 Chevy is likely due to a malfunctioning flasher relay or a wiring problem. The flasher relay may be faulty, causing it to short-circuit and activate both the turn signals and hazard lights simultaneously. Additionally, a crossed wire or poor ground connection can create a backfeed in the electrical system, leading to this unintended behavior. Checking the relay and inspecting the wiring for any shorts or bad connections should help resolve the issue.

There is no such thing as a relay flasher. It is either a relay or a flasher. Are you referring to the turn signal flasher or an actual relay like the fuel pump relay? Please advise.
Flasher relay is built into the flasher switch..
If the flasher relay on a 2001 Dodge Ram 1500 keeps blowing, a person can use a multimeter to find out where the short is in the wires. Start at the flasher plug in and check all of the wiring up to the fuse box in the engine compartment. Also check the wiring in the turn signals.
Bad flasher unit, bad relay, bad wiring... any of those.
