Chevy Silverado models for 2000-2008 hold about 26 gallons in their tanks.
Where can I find a diagram for running new fuel lines on a 1992 chevy pick up
If it has duel tanks then it has 2 pumps, 1 per tank.
speaking based on both of the 88's that i have had they are 25 gallon tanks but that also depend on the truck cause one of them was an 88 cheyenne and the other and current one is an 88 silverado and they have both had 25 gallon tanks speaking based on both of the 88's that i have had they are 25 gallon tanks but that also depend on the truck cause one of them was an 88 cheyenne and the other and current one is an 88 silverado and they have both had 25 gallon tanks
Sorry, But there is no drain plug in any gas tanks. Ford Chevy dodge no 1 used a drain plug.
there are 22 gallon tanks for the 4.3 litre v6 and a 33 gallon tank for the v8 there are 22 gallon tanks for the 4.3 litre v6 and a 33 gallon tank for the v8
Get a manual on the truck from DISCOUNTAUTOREPAIRMANUALS.COM and it may have the information you want. It will help on the next repaire also,
Not sure what your problem is but, one wire comes from each tank and goes up to the dashboard switch. Blue comes up from the left tank, brown w/ white stripe comes up from the right tank. Solid brown goes to the gauge. There will also be a wire from the fuel switching valve (green). This one activates the fuel valve itself. I need to know what voltages/resistances should be at the back of the gauge ?
I am asking the same question for a 1979 Chevy C30 PU Truck & would like to see some photos or schematics. Thank you
If you have a regular size bed and single cab with dual tanks, 18 gals each. Short beds are down to 16 gals. I have been able to get 20 gals in the regular cab.
Yes, 1 pump per tank.
30 gallons total (15 per tank)
dual tanks 15gal each
All 2010 chevy malibu models are fitted with 16 gallon tanks
I have an '07 Crew Cab and mine is 26 gal. There were 35 gallon tanks available. Call a GM dealer parts department with your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN), they can tell you what came on the truck.
The fuel filter is located in the fuel sender assembly, inside the fuel tank. Vehicles with dual tanks, have no fuel filter in the rear tank fuel sender assembly.
The capacity of a 1997 Chevy Cheyenne gas tank is 128 liters. Or one could say it is 32 gallons.
I don't know where you can get a diagram but Ford has some recalls out on duel fuel tanks. Check with a dealer yours could be covered.
16 or 20 gallon tanks were available on the 1984 c10
Yes. You don't have to use both tanks
2 tanks 2 fuel pumps. each tank will haves it's own fuel pump. i just put 2 new tanks and fuel pumps in my 87 stepside.
Visit a garage. They may have a pump that will siphon fuel. Most vehicle fuel tanks have filters & screens that prevent the tanks from being siphoned with a hose.
1500 and 2500 models are 26 gallon tanks, the 2500HD 3500 and 3500HD are 28 or 30 gallon i believe
Read your owner's manual. Depending on type 1500 (long bed 34 gal) (short 26) (chassis cab side tank 22 optional rear 30 )(3500 side tank 21 rear 32) If you have gas tanks on both sides and a long bed 1/2 or 3/4 ton depends on options they can be 16 or 20 gallon tanks. Haven't seen any gas tanks in the back onless some one added them later on.
