which fuse triggers 1992 ford aerostar
No way man. Unless you own a cutting torch and a welder there is no way your going to be putting in a small block Ford into an Aerostar. Not to mention all the fun your going to have swapping in a different wiring harness and computer.
( No ) the 1997 Ford Explorer uses automatic transmissions that are ELECTRONICALLY controlled , where the 1992 model year is not ( P.S. I'm not a mechanic / technician )
How do you remove the rotors on a 1992 ford aerostar?"
It is 0.044 ======================================================= According to one of Fords websites : The spark plug gap for the 4.0 liter V6 engine in a 1992 Ford Aerostar is ( .054 inch ) * the .044 inch spark plug gap is for the 3.0
There is just ( 1 ) timing chain on the 4.0 liter OHV engine used in a 1992 Ford Aerostar In 1997 Ford started using the 4.0 liter SOHC engine in some of their vehicles that has ( 3 ) timing chains
The 1992 Ford Aerostar 3.0 liter engine firing order for the distributor and the motor is the same. The firing order is; 1-6-2-5-3-4.
Yes it does.
check fuses
The Charging system includes the alternator, either an internal or external voltage regulator, a charge indicator, the battery, a fusible link, and the wiring between all of the components.
where can i find a vaccum line diagram for a 1992 ford aerostar with a 3.0 engine
The wiring harness will not work. In 1992, Dodge introduced the "Magnum" series motors. These motors were MPFI (Multi-Point Fuel Injection) motors whereas the motor in the 1990 Dakota was TBI (Throttle Body Injection.) On this fact alone, you'll be missing the connections required for the fuel system if you use the wiring harness. The computer management systems were also vastly different so you would not be able to plug into the Engine Control Unit (ECU) with the wiring harness.
