I know that Hole did a cover of that song on their Unplugged album and a pretty good 60s band called Vanilla Fudge did, too. (Hole, as crazy as it seems, was better - in my opinion.) Misfits had a song by that name, but I don't think it's the same song. FURTHER Al Kooper and Stephen Stills did a long version of Season of the Witch on the Super Session album, released about 1969 - great wah-wah work by Stills, Kooper did the vocals.
