The r32 is much better although the corrado looks a ton better. The r32 is awd and turbo'd, the corrado isn't. If you like looks and rarity go for the corrado, if you want speed go for the r32, although you could buy 4 corrado's for the price of an r32.

I have VR6, its great, however the 1.8T is faster off the line and probably gets slightly better gas mileage in the city, but not on longer trips. If you want to spend slightly more, have a significantly higher top speed, and higher acceleration at above 50 mph and fuel economy is not an object, go with the VR6. Its also much smoother at lower rpm in higher gears which is good in the city if people in front of you are not moving that quickly.If you want better fuel economy and the ability to edge out a VR6 by about a third of a second to sixty, go with the 1.8T.If you want terrible fuel economy and to be able to compete with super-cars, get a R32!!

the thermostat is located in the thermostat housing and that can be found by following the upper and lower radiator houses from the rad to the housing directly under the distributor or coil pack depending on the year of you rado.
