Sophisim is a confusing and illogical argument used for decieveing someone. Or more succintly: Sophisim is an argument completely crafted by an individual to create some type of logic to their position although it is completely wrong. The presentation may seem logical by the complicated aphorism's that are used but the content is complete nonsense, used only to confuse the audience into believeing the speaker has knowledge of the subject when they really don't.
Content can mean happy or stimulated as in "He was feeling content". Content can also mean quantity. Like "Answers.com is full of great Q&A content."

The plural noun, pronounced with emphasis on the first syllable (CONtents) has a completely different root - "contain" - and refers to what is inside something, usually a package: The box's contents were wrapped in three layers of protective plastic.
