This really depends on your situation. It is possible to have a wet room with underfloor heating in a solid floor and it is relatively easy to achieve if none of the work has yet been done. However, if you mean can you now add a wet room to a floor with underfloor heating that has already been installed then things will get tricky :)

Heat Up Your Savings?

Many people are under the mistaken impression that there is little that they can do to lower their monthly utility bills. However, with a little research and work, most anyone can cut both their average gas and average electric bill by a considerable amount each pay period, with very little effect on personal comfort. In many instances, an upfront investment is required, but over the long run, better performance will save the consumer money. Consider underfloor heating to lower an electric bill. Since heat rises naturally, the consumer who employs underfloor heating is using physics to his advantage. It has been shown that underfloor heating can save up to 40% on an electric bill, because less heat is needed to make a room comfortable. To save on gas, disengage the fireplace when not in use. Even small things like pilot lights make a big difference over the long run, so if it is possible, make sure to turn off everything when not in immediate use. These and many other suggestions are available online and even through government publications.

In homes with accessible underfloor spaces, it’s relatively cheap and easy to do.
