It keeps you from going through withdrawal, yes, but depending on what u r used to taking makes the difference. Example: 2mg dilaudid is like taking 2 perc 10's. dilaudid is stroger there is no acetametaphan it is a form of morphine. Hydromorphone is the generic name. I am prescribed 4mgs dilaudid also lasts a lot longer for pain and withdrrawal. con for me is that it makes me feel too "high"
It will be like trying to extinguish a fire with gasoline.
any chemicals that would help with meth withdrawal
do not take dilaudid for morphine withdrawals.this is ascenine..U will simply start your detox over being how dilaudid is 4 to 5 times stronger than morphine accroding to mgs. It will stop your withdrawals and when that pill has worn off you will be in worse shape than you started. Dilaudid is just as or more addictive than morphine.Hope this helps.hang in there I'm on day 4 of morphine withdrawals myself...just hang tight i know it sux but you can do it.. ---- Also a major factor that makes Dilaudid unsuitable for treating morphine withdrawal is, like morphine, it has a short half-life and relatively short duration of action. The longer acting opioids (such as methadone) are used for tapering and maintenance because they require less frequent dosing and stay in the body longer, thus creating less harsh withdrawal symptoms.
really would like to know this! I'm prescribed norco but thinking to try out tramadols for a while to help with the wen process. Can some one let me know the ratio for these two pills. Like how many tramadols should I take to equal the effect of 1 norco? Thanks!
No withdrawal symptoms does have ibuprofen in it cymbalta help fibromyalgia pain effect on dopamine clonazepam.
To an extent yes it will relive a lot if not all of your symptoms but you must understand that Dilaudid is much, much more powerful than Tylenol #4, not to mention that Tylenol #4 contains Acetaminophen, A.K.A., APAP. Which can cause liver damage/overdose at high dosage. The maximum daily dosage of APAP (Acetaminophen) is 4,000mgs which is about 8 normal Tylenol. Overdose can occur at 6,000mgs in healthy adults. So be very careful when trying to alleviate the withdrawal symptoms from a drug that is literally 20-100 times more powerful depending upon administering route. I.E, Oral, IM, IV, etc.. Either way be careful. You will not alleviate 100% of your Dilaudid withdrawal using codeine but it will help immensely if taking properly and you should feel comfortable for the most part.

Somebody who is suffering from opiate withdrawal could easily go to a hospital, a rehab, and a support group to get help. You may even be able to get help from a counselor.
The word prescribed should help you here. You need a prescription. See a physician.
