I was looking for it too and couldn't find it so I contacted their Customer Service.
They told me it was discontinued. Too bad, it was VERY good. It was an excellent product and probably would have still been viable on the market if they had done it justice by properly advertising it!
Because people want to just open up a can and heat it up. They are to busy (or too lazy) to take a few minutes and make something that is more homemade and tastes much better than soup from a can. Too bad because I loved that product....used it all the time. It was a quick way to may a nice homemade soup, especially if you had left over chicken or beef from a meal, in only 20 mins or so. Sign of the times I guess.
I went to Lipton website and contacted them and Yes. it had been discontinued! one of my favorites---gone.
Bring back Lipton cup a soup pea soup please!!!!

Yes. A food mill does work well for making pea soup, especially if you want your soup to have a fine texture. You didn't specify whether you were talking about fresh pea soup or split pea, so here is one of each: http://www.food.com/recipe/fresh-pea-soup-444960 and http://www.food.com/recipe/dutch-snert-split-pea-soup-226954
