It seems to me (a non-Muslim) that there would be riots over someone using the koran to build houses. They wouldn't wait for the bulldozers.

What is the truth about the new policy for the removal of Bibles in military facilities?

A:The US Navy ordered Gideons Bibles removed from military facilities because they linked the military with proselytising, but of course allowed personnel to keep their own Bibles, Korans or other sacred literature. A right-wing backlash forced a policy reversal, so that Gideons Bibles are being "temporarily" returned to Naval accommodation.

Why is Pastor Terry Jones burning the Qurans or Korans?

If you revised Terry Jones Biography on internet, you will find that he is a Pastor of church followed only by a small number of followers. He is a merchant and he is crazy about making himself as important and famous one. He considers publishing the event of burning Quran will attract Americans who harmed by 9/11 events and we market his own products(which already happened) This is a cheap way In his speech he didn't speak about burning Quran as a religious duty ordered by Bible. Instead he is speaking about it as revenge from Islam

How many Korans are there in the world?

There is only one Qur'an in the world and Qur'an will be valid until the end of the world. It is safe from being invalid or being altered by humans. It is purported in the following Qur'anic verses:(It is We who have sent down the Qur'ân, and it is certainly We who will protect it.) [Sûrat-ul-Hijr, 9](The Qur'ân is a matchless Book. Falsehood [any addition or omission] cannot come to it from before it or from behind it [from no direction, in no way]. [Because] It has been sent down by Allah, whom the universe praises, who is the Owner of decree and hikmah.) [Sûrat-u Fussilat, 41-42]

Who collected and collated the holy Quran?

Ali (PBUH) was always with prophet Muhamamd (PBUH) and every verse revealed he memorized and wrote it on animal skin or boned. then before death of prophet he said to Ali (PBUH) when I died you should stay at my home and collect the parts Koran. so the answer is Ali (PBUH) but other people who memorized Koran made their own Koran. near 500 people memorized all the Koran at time of prophet. Arabs amazingly had strong memory. then othman standardized Koran and made a unique Koran in reading method (not in text, the text was the same in different Korans but different reading method)

How can a non-Muslim study the Koran if he has no right to touch it?

A non Muslim can read the Koran but he is not asked to do its orders, so he can read it or listens to it the way he likes. He can just skim or browse through it on the internet or on computer, he can also listens to it recited by other people who can utter the letters and words correctly. That who is to be questioned and blamed for touching it if he is not on ablution is the Muslim who believes in God and His messenger as this book is his constitution in life.

What is the significance of an eight-sided star?

Throughout Islamic history, geometrical shapes were percieved as representative of the respect and reverence devout Moslems have toward the blessings of Allah and His glory. Many devout Moslems used geometrical shapes in decorating the page margins of the hand-written Korans to indicate their reverence and belief in His words and existance. In their caligraphic hand writting of the Koran, they used eight-sided stars within the caligraphic inscriptions decorating the margins of each page of the holy Koran and used the same stars to decorate the area on the walls behind elevated seats were Islamic preachers sat to give their sermons in the mosque. And in the early days of Islam, two square shapes of Kaaba (which is considered a square cube) were super-imposed on each other to create the eight-sided star to represent the victory of Islam on pagans which used the Kaaba building before Moslems to worship stone idols. Thus the eight-sided star was first used in Islamic caligraphy as a revered Islamic sign donating victory and is now drawn on many objects to indicate reverence toward the Islamic faith. What do regal angelfish eat?

Angelfish usually feed on sponges and tunicates in nature. It can be hard to adjust them to other types of foods. You should always ask what the person you bought them from fed them. They'll normally take fresh chopped meaty foods such as shrimp, squid, marine fish flesh or scallops. There are frozen preparations available that are suitable for angelfishes with this type of specialized diet. Feed 2 to 3 times per day.
