Not really, Sonic Unleashed was on xbox 360, wii, and some other consoles. An old sonic would be on a cartridge but Sonic Unleashed was on a disc, so it's not that old. 2008 was when it came out, but no Sonic Unleashed is not an old sonic game.

Well Sonic Unleashed had a better storyline and more fun gameplay. You collect chaos emeralds and get to beat the snot out of robots and Dark Gaia's friends. Sonic 4 is completely different and is sort of a cliffhanger story. Even though the cliffhanger will be gone when Episode II comes out, I would recommend Sonic Unleashed more than Sonic the Hedgehog 4.

first of all I would highly recamend sonic colors and sonic generations when the game goes 2d side scrolling that way you won't have to worry about drowning the freaking second you get in. sonic unleashed though it is very easy to drown, even if you get by a puddle sonic drowns if you are 2 feet in the water so be careful

Having owned and beaten the game, I still enjoy playing as Sonic and increasing his Speed and Ring Meter. Also the challenges from the hot dog vendor has increased my reaction timing in this game. Not to mention going around and helping people, only because I'm an Achievement seeker. But yes, I do miss the Chao garden, that would have been awesome to have especially the way online gaming has evolved. I would've enjoyed it better to have an upgraded Omachoa floating behind me instead of Chip. To my opinion, I think that it would have been cool to have other playable Sonic Unleashed characters, like Silver, Tails, Knuckles, Shadow, and all of them instead of just Sonic and his werehog form. I've already beaten the game, so, I know that Sonic's the only playable character. Would've been cool to have Silver or Blaze at least seeable in Sonic Unleashed. Guess Sega just wanted to focus on Sonic in the game.

So it looks like Sims 3 Generations is definitely real and Sims 3 Unleashed is very likely, but wait for a confirmation.
