With modifications probably - - but the CR-V was powered by the Civic engine that year and would probably be under-powered for the larger Accord.
yes but why?.......
an accord is a big car and putting a 1.6 out of a crx would kinda be a little on the stupid side(no offence) it would probably run like a RC car
Would it be the same on a 2001 civic
You are comparing apples to oranges. You should be comparing the Mazda 6 with the Accord. The Mazda 3 competes with the Honda Civic. In either case my recommendation would be to go with Honda. The Accord and the Civic are almost always tops in their class.
The Honda Accord would be an excellent choice.
I would check with an authorized Honda dealerhip to see if they have the same part numbers.
That would be the check engine light.
The Honda Accord would be faster with air shocks and the engine that runs like a babe. :-)
yes
I would suggest bringing your Civic to a Honda service center. This is a difficult job and if not done correctly could result in severe engine damage. The NJ Honda dealer that I use has factory trained technicians who use only the best equipment and genuine Honda parts. I wouldn't trust anyone other than their experts to work on my 2002 Honda Accord.
It is probably possible, but why would you want to? The B22 is a good engine but no better than a Honda engine. This would require major modifications.
