no. i have had two big comet goldfish with my, little 2 inch fish, and they never ate him.
They eat goldfish food, the best place to get it is petsmart.they only eat goldfish food!( its unhealthy for a fish to eat other foods for there diet!)hope it helps!
Goldfish are opportunistic omnivores and will eat whatever they can. This may include a much smaller fish or a deceased fish.
i am not sure about eating sharks but i have had a few eat each other.
yes, mostly salmon No they do not eat fish.ImprovedI just tried, i successfully fed comet goldfish to my pet mice and they seemed to enjoy.
It is not likely. Bettas grow to around 3 inches and that would be too large for most goldfish to eat. The thing is though that they should NEVER be in the same tank together. Comet Goldfish are coldwater fish and should be kept at or below 70F, Bettas are tropical fish and should be kept at or above 75F. The basic rules of successfull fish keeping still apply. All species of fish must have their water looked after properly if they are to survive. The basic rules are. :- 1 inch of fish needs at least 1 gallon of water. :- Every tank must have a permanently running filter. :- Every tank must have at least 50% of its water replaced every week.
koi fish would normally eat goldfish food try tetra fin goldfish flakes they are made for goldfish and koi
Comet goldfish are best suited to living with other goldfish of similar size and temperament. Due to their large size and messy eating habits, it is recommended to avoid adding other fish to a 10 gallon tank with comet goldfish. It is important to provide enough space and filtration for all fish to thrive.
yep your 10 inch jd is going to eat your 15inch bala shark... think about that for a min. not to be rude but research the fish your planning on buying. A jd might eat a baby bala but a goldfish would eat a baby bala, a goldfish would eat a baby jd to. Fish eat smaller fish no matter what the species is. All in all a fullgrown jd and a full grown bala would be fine together.
What a very strange question. I would assume they do not hunt and catch goldfish to eat as a cat would. Neither can they dive and hunt fish as a Kingfisher would. So my guess would be that no, under normal conditions mice would not eat goldfish. They may eat one if given the opportunity, such as if the fish is dead and lying on the carpet.
I really would not put the tadpoles in with the goldfish...the goldfish will most likely eat them all. It depends on the goldfish size, but eventually they will try to eat the tadpoles whether they suceed or not. :/
No. Goldfish are not Vegetarian Mammals like Rabbits or Horses. They are fish. Carrot would not be of any benfit to a Goldfish because they would be unable to digest it.
The simple answer is yes. Just remember the golden rule 1 inch of fish needs 1 gallon of water.
