Yes and no. Yes because the trigger stops can help you shoot faster and so you can spam. No because gears of war is not an FPS game and a lot of things won't help. You can look for a modded controller. The upside of the scuf for GoW is because they have paddles, but I'm not a GoW fan so I'm not sure of the controls. Personally I would check out Avengercontroller.com they seem to have more functions than a scuf at a quarter of the cost.
