Building excessive fuel pump back pressure Overheating fuel pump
There is a fuel filter in the fuel tank attached to the fuel pump. There is a inline fuel filter along the frame rail under the vehicle and each fuel injector (2) in the throttle body has a fuel filter. So the answer would be 4. A typical service would require changing only the inline fuel filter mounted under the vehicle.
where would you find out if the Air Conditioner filter is blocked on a 2005 Subaru Outback
That would be the FACTORY A/C DELCO FILTER. If it wasn't any good then Chevy would not have used it.
There is a fuel filter in the fuel tank, an inline fuel filter in the fuel line and a fuel filter in each fuel injector, so the answer would be 4. The only one that you would typically change would be the inline one on the frame rail.
IS it the pump itself? Did you check for a blocked fuel filter? are you getting any fuel pressure to the fuel rail?
you need a inline filter. with out the filter it sounds like a buzzing or whisteling caused from alternator charge.
change your fuel filter.
That is the worst filter you could put on. If you want your engine to last you need to put a A/C delco filter on it. If it was not the best, chevy would not use it.
That would be the first spark plug / cylinder all the way up front
I believe the filter is internal, so that would require the tranny to be taken out and taken apart. I have a '97 626 LX, I just added an inline filter ($14 - $25).
blocked pcv or excessive piston blowby..
Why in the world would you want to install a Fram filter on your Chevy? The Fram filter is not a very good filter. Install an AC/Delco which is a great filter. Purolator & Wix also make great filters. Any of those 3 are superior to Fram in every way. Your Chevy requires a PF61 AC/Delco oil filter.
