It depends on what the fuse is conected to

A blown fuse will cause your 2000 Chevrolet Impala interior lights to stop working. The fuse box can be located in the engine compartment. A listing of the fuses can be found on the inside cover of the fuse box.
simply having a blown fuse would not cause the engine to run hot. But, it depends on what fuse is blown. a fuse blown for the cooling fans would make it run hot.
when my car did this it was a blown fuse
One fan should work when the A/C is turned on. Either the fans are defective, fuse is blown, or thermal relay is defective.
you have a blown fuse, look in your owners manual and it will show you the fuses location.
If all the windows quit working you need to look for a blown fuse in the fusebox.
In a 2001 Chevrolet Impala, the fuse for the dashboard lights is located in the fuse box under the dashboard on the driver's side. Specifically, you'll want to check the fuse labeled "IP" (instrument panel) or "Dome" in the fuse box. If the dashboard lights are not working, it's a good idea to inspect this fuse for any signs of damage or blown connections.
A fuse is a deliberate weak link which will be blown if there is a power overload. When you blow a fuse, take the blown fuse out and throw it away as you would a blown light bulb, and replace it with another fuse of the same type. * In the old-timey fuse boxes a penny could be substituted for a fuse, but a penny is too strong to be blown, and the next overload will burn the house down.
