Can a cheetah eat a lion?

Both the cheetahs and lions inhabit different sections of Africa. They are extremely territorial animals, but don't usually come into contact with eachother. Lions can pose a big threat to cheetahs, but cheetahs are much faster and smarter than lions are. Once, a cheetah scared off a healthy, adult male lion to defend her cubs. Those cats are definetely NOT as weak as some people say they are! Someone is writing a book trilogy called "The Cheetah Warrior" which is about a female cheetah who fights lions, hyenas, crocodiles, baboons, leopards, etc. But the main idea of the series is that she fights lions. The book won't come out for a VERYlong time, though.

No, cheetahs are big cats just like lions. And i don't think a cheetah can bring down a lion. lions are probably to powerful. the cheetahs only huge advantage would be speed. otherwise the lion has it beat. but like i said, they wont eat each other usually.

Cheetahs are considerably smaller than lions and avoid confrontations as they know they cannot win. Lions commonly will steel a cheetah's kill and the cheetah can do nothing to prevent it. Lions also kill a great number of cheetah cubs and are, perhaps, the greatest reason that the numbers of cheetah are so low.
