I had my phone stolen a few months ago it was a blackberry curve 8500 and I was so upset and i got another one for my birthday and i always put it somewhere i know nobody can get it and carry on with my life because there is no point in bothering catching the person who did it because they ain't gonna give it back.
No, because there is no service or it is shut off, how would you able to connect without services?...Am I right?
I do not think so. If these services were indeed illegal, they would have been shut down long ago. I also don't see the problem with reverse look up when your contact information is displayed in the phone book anyway.
When the machine is shut off all Volatile memory is gone for the most part.

Yes its just that the website is either deleted, shut down, or just not currently working
Your account will last as long as you want unless: you delete it, it gets shut down, or the website myspace is deleted.
You cannot shut down someone else's cell phone via a text message. Cell phones don't have that kind of capability built in. Certainly something like that (a built-in or programmable "feature" that would another phone to shut down the phone in question), but it's not a feature most people would want on a phone. Why would someone want a feature like that? It won't sell. Could a parent use the feature? Possibly, but a parent who wants more "say" in the use of a phone by their children would be told to find another way to deal with a problem if there is one. And no one wants some clown to be able to send a text message to shut their phone down. Anyone who wants to shut down another person's cell phone (via a text message or anything else) is malicious. It might be considered a prank or joke by the person shutting down another's phone. Consider how you'd like it played on you by someone else. Would you? Thought so.
