Some agencies, but by no means all, DO start officers out at a hgher salary for a higher education level. HOWEVER, not ALL persons, regardless of the amount of their education, are cut out or suited for police work. If that person IS suited they will probably possess greater potential for promotion and advancement within their agency.

It really ranges but the higher degree you have the higher pay you will make. Some xray techs can make 100g's or more a year really. It's all up to you and how much you work and the degree you possess on top of where your working as well.
