No. Lions hunting giraffes is predation, not parasitism.
Parasitism requires one animal or creature using another animal or creature for its benefit while the used creature suffers. A predator kills a different animal to consume it.
parasitism
Every scenario ends with either the giraffe winning or a draw. Point A: Google giraffes fighting. A penguin would die instantly. Point B: a penguin can't even kill a human Point C: The only condition where the giraffe dies is from weather conditions if they were to fight in the Antarctic, but at that point, its so unfairly biased that it can't be called a fair fight.
The blood pressure in the giraffe's body is very high so that blood pumps to the head but when it lowers the head to drink the pressure would be extreme and it would die with out the valves.
of course Lion is the winner. because Lion is a predator, they eat animals. So, in this case, Lion would have eaten Giraffe because Giraffe is an animal, and Lion is an egoistic creature. Lion always want to be the ONE. the Chosen One. xD It'd be risky to attack a giraffe, with its long legs and powerful kicks, but if a lion were desperate enough, they could do it with teamwork. Also, (mainly to the answer above) the lion would not always win. More than two giraffes could be too hard. So no, the lion is not always the winner. I've seen it with my own eyes.
No a herbivore would be something like a giraffe, a polyp is a tumerous growth.
A tick feeding off of a bison, or any meaty animal would be parasitism.
Parasitism is the practice of being a parasite; as in the tick and tapeworm practice parasitism.
an example would be a flea and a dog. The flea drinks the dogs blood, but does nothing beneficial for the dog.
A symbiotic relationship involves 2 species livingtogether. Mutualism is when both benefit. Commensalism is when one benefits without harming the other. Parasitism is when one species benefits while harming--but not killing--the other. An example of parasitism would be a tick on a dog. If the dog died, it would stop pumping blood for the tick to consume. In predator-prey relationships, most often one party must die for the other to benefit.
The mold is there because it has a role in which must be played in Nature-to break down organisms. It will take over the orange so it will be overcome by it. In a way it is a form of parasitism. I'm not sure if I would call it parasitism. A parasite usually affects a living organism, if the mold was growing off of a living orange tree then it would be a parasite, but as for an orange? I would consider it more of a decomposer then.
the beetle is unable to catch prey because it is slowed down by the mite. Study Island Answer!!
E.g. "This form of parasitism involves latching onto the host, and drawing/ingesting its blood"
Parasitism involves one organism (parasite) living off of another (host) in a harmful manner but without killing the host. Predation involves one organism (predator) killing another (prey) for food.
A lion would try to eat a giraffe, but may not succeed.
Anal... Withe giraffe
There are no such thing as giraffe years so it would just be 10.
A warbler would have a parasitism relationship
