yes, to suck it's blood. the spider will wrap it's leg around the beetle.. and the beetle would just have to die.
No, I have not encountered a spider beetle in my bathroom.
Spider. The fly and the beetle just watch the action.
a decaying log
If the spider does not have poison.
it is possible
nope. they eat bees, ants, etc. but not beetles. An interesting bit of infoTarantulas will stun a beetle or a wasp and lay eggs on it. The beetle or wasp stays alive but paralyzed and when the eggs hatch they eat the beetle or the wasp.I thought that I'd add a little information to this answer. The user asking the question above did not specify Tarantulas or just any spider in general. There is a spider that primarily eat beetles it's fangs are specially designed to penetrate a beetles shell. I do not know the exact name of this spider. It's found in the western United States. If anyone does know the name of this particular spider please message me at my_life_notyours@live.com.
Yes, but they have to eat the snail's soft body, and avoid the shell. If the snail goes up the spider's web, the spider would probably eat it.
spider
A spider could eat an ant
I am sure you know they eat fly's and such, but i have a spider living on my window and at the same time have a small beetle infestation, because of this i sometimes find the beetle larvae so i drop them on the web, it seems to eat them fast, and its grown a lot in 3 weeks, any living food as long as its not bigger than the Spiders body is sufficient for it, a large fly bigger than the spider would also feed it sufficiently, they store food so it dose not matter what you give it but they prefer living things.
Get a male spider.
