It really depends on the subject area of the associates degree and whether or not vacancies are available. In terms of educational qualification, an associates degree comes in between a GED and a bachelor's degree. Therefore, an associates degree holder would be picked before a GED only holder.
not from my experience. i have an associates in drafting technology obtained at a local technical college. i was recently accepted to southern polytechnic state and university to find out that only my core classes would transfer. the two years of drafting held no wait. they could only be used as electives. for a batchelors i would have to take another 4 years of architecture classes
Depends on the country, in most places, no. The AA Degree program is similar to the first two years at a university, only much much cheaper. You then enter the university level as a junior. In the United States, you would need to complete your Bachelor's degree at an accredited four-year college or university before entering law school. In most places you won't be accepted if you have only an Associate's degree. It is possible that they might make an exception for you, but the school may not be accredited.
