If the expiration date will come before you finish the pack of pills you would be better off getting a new pack. If the pill states it expires 01/14/13 don't take any pills after 01/13/13. If the pack expires 01/2013 you can take the pills until 01/31/2013. When medication becomes old and hits it's expiration it can lose it's potency, something you don't want to happen with birth control!
