Yes. There are lots of things in Sesame Street that children would not realise are funny, like skits on famous people or stereotypes. Adults would notice these things. Sesame Street has been around for a long time, so for some adults it is a part of their childhood that they like to see again. Sesame Street is made by adults. So for these and other reasons, while it is mainly for children, adults can watch and enjoy Sesame Street.

I don't think they show it anymore. That is a shame. I never saw it or anything but from books that I read that have little snippits of information it sounds fun yet educational. I do have a t-shirt with a picture of Elmo on though! It's on public broadcast stations- not cable, not ABC/NBS/CBS. (I'm in a suburb of New York City. We have it on channel 13 & 21 in English and 17 out of New Jersey in Spanish.)
