I like Sparkly Silver, my friend did some nice nails where she painted her nails purple and then put some sparkly silver on the end of her nails. You could always do darker or lighter shades of purple.

I would get nail polish remover without acetone in it. It helps take out the color, without ruining acrylics or other false nails. Also it helps protect your real nails as well. Hope this helps.(:
Painting your nails, texting, and doing your hair would not be considered an extracurricular activity. Generally, extracurricular activity's are those that are educational that aren't in the regular school curriculum.

When doing dishes, your nails get softer as they absorb water and adapt to the conditions of the water, similar to how your fingers get pruney when you have your hands in water for extended periods of time. Nails get soft and weak, especially if they are already thin or weak, so that would be why your nails feel a bit strange or frail when you are doing dishes.
