No. As long as it is just coloring and no additives, no it won't be a problem. In fact they actually have some special water coloring that can enhance the color of a bearded dragon.
There is a product made specifically for this reason so obviously others have considered the same thing. There are special types of coloring made for dragons specifically that also enhance their color. Although normal food coloring shouldn't hurt them I would recommend a product specifically made for the animal you are planning to use the product on.
Why on EARTH would you want to do such a CRUEL act ! That's just abhorrent (look it up if you don't know what the word means !)
This question is a TYPICAL reason as to why I discourage young people from owning reptiles !
He would get hurt, but he wouldn't die!!
No, food coloring is basically water.
Don't try to do this; some instinctual behaviors are just too strong to try to subvert. Just keep the males separate.
Yes!!!! If you want to color on it (not near eyes, mouth, etc.) then find non toxic washable markers, that's the best. However, do this only if you have to because even though this won't hurt it it will annoy it and stress it out so try not to do this too often.
i have a bearded dragon myself and they will not normally bite you however if you put your hand in whilst they are feeding or if you annoy or hurt them yes they will bite and it hurts a lot hope this helps :)
It probably is, as it is found in the ingredients of many packaged bearded dragon foods. Fish oil and fish meal are common ingredients. Large doses of it are probably not recommended, but a sprinkling of it can't hurt.
a bit but does not ever draw blood Actually yes it does hurt and yes they can draw blood if they truly mean to bite you, I've had it happen
Females don't bleed, if your beardie (of either sex) is bleeding it's hurt and you should take it to the vet ASAP
no. but if there are far to many crickets in the cage it will hurt it.
they get hurt by dragon types. Some get hurt by water or pysic types.
It will be the same for just about all colorings, put about a teaspoon of vinegar in a cup ( two wont hurt ) add coloring to your desired shade and then hot ( not boiling ) water, enough to cover an egg.
if your iguana is bitten by a bearded dragon it will show accute signs of fatigue for the first hour or so then it will steadily retain water until reaching the size of 100 metric tons or equal to 1 godzilla. it is rare but it happens.
