No it will not.
Yes it does. It Strains you Fuel Pump Which Eventually will lead to Fuel Pump Failure....
I would suspect fuel pump failure.
Water in the fuel or a clogged fuel filter can damage a fuel pump. You can also damage a fuel pump by running the pump without fuel in the tank.
A vehicle with a failed fuel pump will not start. But fuel pumps can have intermediate degrees of failure which can result in intermittent failure or low fuel pressure.
Fuel supply problem, possible plugged fuel filter or fuel pump failure..
1 No power to the fuel pump 2 Failed fuel pump 3 fuel filter clogged 4 blockage or failure of fuel line (5 clogged injectors)
A partially clogged fuel filter can cause the fuel pump to work harder and in the end cause premature fuel pump failure. Due to how expensive it is to replace a fuel pump, I recommend you replace the fuel filter every 50,000 miles. Cheap insurance against pump failure.
Fuel pump failure is one possibility.
My first guess would be fuel pump failure.
The year, make and model would help but, check the wiring for damage, check for loose grounds and connections, the fuel pump fuse and relay.
I would suspect fuel pump failure.
Yes. If you wait till the last minute to fill your car with gas then it can and probably would cause damage to your fuel pump. :)
