Yes it is possible if this isn't normal for you.
Yes, one can get some amount of spotting in the initial months of pregnancy but it is not a period. However if it continues you must show it to the doctor.
No, you cannot have a positive test until about a week after implantation. Some women have a little bit of spotting during pregnancy. As long as you don't have a period and the pregnancy symptoms don't go away you should be fine. If you are worried take another test in a week or so and/or go to the doctor and ask for an ultrasound as you are spotting.
Find out why it's not possible to have your period when you're pregnant and why some women do have bleeding.open the third & sixth link on: pregnancy-4-help.co.cc-----------------------------------------If you miscarry you would get your period, but with pregnancies there can be spotting that can sometimes resemble a normal period. If you are bleeding and you are pregnant then go to the doctor. A normal pregnancy, there is no blood at all, at any stage of the pregnancy until the very end, where some women may loose their mucus plug. Spotting generally is when you wipe and there is a pink tinge, or you wear a pad and find some (but not much) blood. Some women get a bit of spottign around the time their period is due, which is called implantation spotting. I spotted and bled through 3 of my pregnancies, one of them I had 4 full on periods in the first 18 weeks, which was very scary. but my baby was fine. I would alwasy let your midwife know of any spotting. of any kind, pink or brown. just to be sure. goodluck Also, sex and internals can cause a little spotting without need for concern... make sure you let your lead maternity carer know
It could be spotting from the baby implanting, still making its way out. Or your progesterone may be dropping (meaning you could lose the baby) or it could mean nothing. I had spotting with both my pregnancies. one of them i lost, one of them stuck.
I'm not sure when this question was posted, so I might be a little late answering..but I think yes. I am having very light spotting without cramps, and am 16dpo. From what I've read this is normal during pregnancy, and especially during early pregnancy. However, most of the posts I've read say no because most likely the lastest implation will occur is 12dpo. But the reason why I think implation spotting is possible on 16dpo, is because It can take anywhere from an hour-4days for the entire implantation process to occur. Most people don't think about that, and would assume that it's not possible, but I disagree. Idk if it's wishful thinking, but anything is possible. I hope this answer is helpful..even with that knowledge I have still been asking the same question :/
If you are a girl, it is most likely ending or beginning of a period. If you recently had sex, it could be spotting for pregnancy. Or even an infection.

No, but it is possible to spot during pregnancy. In particular, it could be implantation bleeding. Take a pregnancy test to be sure. Blood tests are more reliable than urine tests. actually yes, spotting can very well be an early sign of pregnancy. it was the first sign i noticed that tipped me off that i was pregnant- it is not at all unusual to have spotting (which is known as implantation bleeding) anywhere from 4-12 days after conception. the reason for this is that the egg burrows into the uterine lining. of course spotting does not automatically mean that you are pregnant, though. Many women spot after sex while they pregnant. During pregnancy there is a lot more blood flow to the vagina and cervix area to support the baby. Sex can cause spotting because this area is a lot more swollen than usual and is easily bruised, leading to small amounts of bleeding. The spotting could be caused by the pregnancy. Don't worry about it unless it more than a "spot". Just take the sex a little easier for the future.
