farm
The jobs were ship building and they would farm. they wouldn't farm to much because the growing seasons were very short. that is why they have more farming down south where it has long growing seasons.
To send objects down by ship to different places easier and to receive things by ship easier to get resources such as fish.

no it does not, that would be cruel to put a animal in a box and ship it to your house
He lived on that on ship. You know...
0 ms. A ship is not alive.
on a ship!!!!!!!!???????????????
People a boarded the ship in 2024 and noone could live in a ship can they!!
Normally not.
they would usually live on the ships since the constantly went to and fro in their boats. Selling slaves was a pretty lucrative business, but most of the slaves would in fact die on the ship from disease. which would cut their profit in half or more. this cut of money would decrease their chances of actually getting a home.
An example would be that, if you were ship wrecked on an island with 100 people and the island could supply all your needs , although you might have to farm etc . it would be classed as sustainable. If it could not you would all died and would be classed as unsustainable.
I actually think a larger ship would be easier to deal with due to the fact that you wouldn't feel the motion of the sea so easily. Smaller ships make you feel like you are moving all the time.
