You go to the deed records at the county courthouse and look for the gentleman's name in the "grantor - grantee index." That should give you the location of the relevant deed. Some counties have these records online.

How much does a owner operator make in the oil field?

On average most trucks(belly dumps, water tankers) probably earn around $110-$120 hr. Guess it depends on who you work for. That's the truck hourly rates I have seen in the past 2.5 yrs in the Bakken field n north Dakota. Up till this year my truck averaged close to 100 hrs a week but things have started to slow down. Now I'm lucky if I average 60. Things are definitely changing up here.
