Yes, of course! Seismology is the study of the different types of waves that are generated inside the Earth, or on the surface. Similarly, waves are generated on other planets, including moons, as well. In fact, NASA (National Aeronautics and Space Administration) currently uses Geophysicists to determine the structure of Moon and other aspects, through its Lunar Planetary Institute.
