The crutches would definitely relieve the pressure on the foot, because you would not be putting your weight on it by walking. It would then give the foot ample chance to start healing.
that would depend how damaged it is if it is very damaged you would need the crutches, and if it is not that damaged then you wont need it, but it will get worse without crutches
Yes, ligaments are supplied by blood vessels that bring nutrients and oxygen to help maintain their health and function. However, ligaments have a relatively poor blood supply compared to other tissues, which can make their healing process slower compared to other structures in the body.
it would probably look like a red line going down the inflicted area.
crutches
if they have too many problems with using them, I'd think their doctor would prescribe a wheelchair instead of crutches
Although you may Want crutches if it hurts a lot when you walk, that doesn't necessarily mean that you Need them. It would be a good idea to check in with a doctor if this condition persists for a few days or more.
Yes as when you have a sprained ankle you can't put pressure on your foot if your foot is severly sprained. I would recomend getting crutches but (if you don't want to wear crutches you can wear an ankle brace where you can get from any store) only use them for about 3-7 days and start trying to walk and do muscle exercises. You can get crutches from a pharmacy/drug store. Hope this helps.
On his Twitter page, Joshua stated that he had to have knee surgery, and will be on crutches for six weeks.
Yes it is perfectly fine to reuse old crutches. I would only consider a new set if you have gotten significantly taller.
It's actually possible to hang shopping on crutches. It depends on how heavy it is. If its very heavy you would have a hard time walking on your crutches with the extra weight of you shopping. Even if it was a small package and if it fell for any reason.. im sure you will not be able to pick it up. so its better no to hang anything on your crutches. Another alternative might be to replace the crutches with either a Knee Scooter or Hands Free Crutch. Both free up your hands and require less energy than crutches. The can be rented online.
ligaments have the longest recovery rate due to the lack of blood supply to the area, this is common in all ligament strains and rips, usually the time depends on the amount of trauma caused but it can be from 6weeks to 3months, so the answer would be yes they can in time
yes... a leg brace is like a cast
