No because water freezes (and thaws) at zero degrees Celsius. Mars' winter temperature is something like -150 degrees C... It's summer is something around -25 C. Liquid water on the surface would simply freeze, and get covered with dust and rock and more dust. There is some question as to whether liquid water exists underground, where magma and the heat of the planet would keep it thawed. Discoveries of large amounts of methane in Mars' atmosphere point that Mars is geologically active, meaning its not a solid lump of rock and that it is possible that magma flows deep deep beneath the surface. (It could also mean that life exists but that's a little redundant)
Though evidence has found that liquid water existed on Mars's surface in the past.
No, the density of Mars is 3.9335 g/cm³ (the density of water is 1.00 g/cm3), therefore Mars would sink.
The planet that would float in water is the planet Saturn which has a density of 0.687 g/cm3.
Water can't boil on Mars because its maximum temperature is 32 degrees F, which is the freezing point.
no there is not water on mars but NASA found out there used to be water flowing on mars
yes we can if you are less than 38 pounds
Edit: I don't think you can. The gravity is a lot more than the Moon.
Also there's no liquid water to float in.
yes it has water in it...
no
How much water does Mars have?
Earth and Mars
Mars. It has been explored by several unmanned land rovers in recent times. Evidence collected from these rovers has helped to build up a picture of Mars' past, revealing that Mars once had liquid water on its surface.
NASA photographs of Mars are the best evidence that water has been flowing on Mars recently. During warmer periods in Mars' atmosphere, the photographs show streaks that look like streams. Scientists agree that this is evidence of water on Mars.
Because mars cannot contain water.
How much water does Mars have?
Some tresses of water on mars .So we can say that there is water on mars
mars has flowing water on it
Is there water on Mars :) ???????????????surface temperatures on Mars are too low for liquid water to exist and Mars has no rivers, seas, or oceans. However, there was water once. I know this because I am an austernaut that studdys Mars. And Mars has dried up water channelsYes there is water on Mars
Mars has no liquid surface water.
There is no liquid water on Mars.
There was water at one time on Mars.
Water for Mars was created in 2009.
Mars is hot so frozen water can melt in Mars.
Mars does have water, it is just frozen in its ice caps.
Mars has water (Ice) on its polar caps
Water is present on Mars in the form of ice.
