Extreme temperatures, lack of atmosphere, scarce (if any) water supplies, etc.
If life is found on mars there is a 98% chance that there microscopic.
Well it has no oxygen but it has frozen water so if life existed on mars they would not be humans.
Life as we know it would likely not exist on Mars due to its thin atmosphere, lack of liquid water, and intense radiation. However, if Mars had a thicker atmosphere, more stable climate, and liquid water on its surface, there would be a greater potential for life to exist.
bad
No double nor no life on Mars, Because the only planet that can be lived is Earth.
at the moment, there are no signs of life. There could be but most like there isnt. If there are Martians on Mars, they would be natives.
This is a very good question but from research that I have done in previous years would say the answer would be no because mars does not have some characteristics that earth does have. Mars does not have trees and and ocean. They have no food supply except rock. But no, I am afraid we would not be living on mars, sorry! There are some reports of scientists finding ice on Mars, so it is possible that, if Mars were where earth is, Mars would have life. It is roughly the same size, which would create a similar climate. One problem, however, is its rotation. Because of the slow speed at which Mars rotates, one side would be perpetually cold, and one hot, so life would have to survive only along the rim between the areas. If the earth were closer to the sun, it would likely be too hot for humans to live in, but there are some bacteria that live comfortably in hot springs, so an alternate form of life may arise. If the situation in your question were to occur, 'we' as a human race may not live on mars, but likely some other species would.
It is a cold planet. Aliens would have to adapt but could live there. It is -125 to 23 ° Fahrenheit. If there were aliens, which there might be, they might want to buy it because you would be able to jump 3 times as high on Mars as you can on Earth. I would want to buy it, but I would pack WARM clothes. Lolz.
It would be a mineral within the rock. It most certainly would not be plant life.
Life forms from Venus would be called Venusians. Life forms from Mars would be called Martians. In any respect, however, there is no evidence, nor scientific support of life on either Venus or Mars.
I'm no scientist, but I'm going to have to say, no. If there was snowfall on Mars, there would probably be life on Mars. Where there is water, there is life. No, I'm pretty sure, almost positive, there is no snowfall on Mars.
Mars would still be a lot colder than the Earth, but having a slightly thicker atmosphere would easily compensate for that. It Mars had all these characteristics, then terrestrial life would flourish on its surface, it would be like a sister Earth. In actual fact we could make the real Mars similar to Earth, through a process called terraforming. We wouldn't be able to do much about the gravity and magnetic field, but Mars already has the ingredients needed to give it an atmosphere and liquid oceans. So in the future we could certainly call Mars home, it wouldn't be too hard to adapt to 0.38g and higher rates of cancer from cosmic rays.
