Sorry don't know how to add this in above
I have been near someone with the mumps about two weeks ago, on Tuesday which is five days ago now, I became feverish/achy/headache/loss of appetite and phoned my GP and went through my symptoms and she suggested I may have the mumps. I woke up yesterday and felt absolutely fine except for a sore throat. i don't have any obvious swelling on my neck and I'm just wondering if anyone clear up for me whether this is a normal pattern of the mumps disease or whether I may just have some sort of flu induced tonsillitis!
Any help is much appreciated!
