There are many more questions in this stanza than in most others throughout the poem. Most long stanzas were wrapped up in a question, but this one is more based on questions. It seems to be that this stanza is directed toward the audience about their judgments of him. The tone is most nearly concerned. He is asking questions about "who has done his day's work?"(74) and seems apprehensive to receive an answer.
