I would definitely have the hernia repaired before you breed your dog. I work in an animal hospital, we had a pregnant dog come in with a puppy stuck in a hernia. It wasn't good, she and puppies died from infection because pup in hernia had died a while before the owners knew their was a problem.
NO don't worry it has happened to my dog and she is still alive
Any hernia will hurt until repaired. If your hernia still hurt then there must be a reason. Your Local Doctor should be able to find that reason
Yes it would as long as it was already pregnant.
An occult hernia is a hernia that is not visible from the outside due to its location inside the body. It may not present with the typical bulging or protrusion that is often seen in other types of hernias, making it harder to diagnose. Occult hernias may still cause symptoms such as pain or discomfort, and may require medical intervention.
yes it will still have puppies but watch them when they mate because if she is not steadied by her owner in the 'tie' then he may damage the bitch. hope i helped and hope you get a good litter of puppies. good luck.
Yes, most likely having a testicular hernia will not damage the ability of the testes to make and transport spermatazoa.
no
Recurrence after hernia operation is one possibility. If a mesh is used it can sometimes continue to give some discomfort. Check with your Surgeon as it may need reexploring if it still continues to cause pain.
Yes unfortunately I got it from my father's side and it is not a mole or anything like that it actually is a nipple and it's small but you can still tell what it is it looks like a baby's nipple. Luckily I can get it removed.
If a person has a bullet inside his abdominal area and wants it removed after his hernia operation, it is up to the doctor to decide if it can be safely removed after the operation.
If it really is one of the testicles, then it isn't normal. that would be a failed neutering. The dog would still have all the urges of an intact dog, and still be able to father puppies.
It should not be a problem if you have an umbilical hernia. There will of course be some limitations, so he should not over exert himself. However, he should still be ale to use it.
