Christianity is not just a statement or a thing, it's a way of life and it's a relationship with God. I have been a Christian since i was 4 and i can't say life wasn't hard at times, but that's not because I'm a Christian it's because life is hard, and those hard times are called trials, but with God you can get through those trials. If you're seriously considering Christianity leave a comment and we can talk more about it. :)

Why do you say jesus h Christ?

Galatians 2:16 is a verse where both terms are used in the NIV. The NASB has Christ Jesus both times. Either way you write it, it means the same thing.Christ means anointed one or Messiah. Since only a king is anointed I feel its suffice to say that either way your write it you can replace Christ with King. Then Jesus Christ means - Jesus the KingAnd Christ Jesus means - King JesusAlso a side note - Jesus doesn't receive the title "Christ" until He is resurrected. He did claim that he was the Christ in John 4:24-25. He also did call himself Jesus Christ in John 17:3. But others didn't start calling him Jesus Christ until his resurrection.Peter does this at Pentecost in Acts 2:38. Before this he held the title Jesus of Nazareth Acts 2:22.It's also interesting to note that the first time the term Jesus Christ is used by someone other than Christ we are told to repent and be baptized. Hence the start the the Church. And it is by the title "Christ" it shows us that He is reigning in Heaven today.Another answerWhen "Jesus Christ" is written in the Bible, the writer is emphasizing the humanity of Jesus; when it says "Christ Jesus", it is emphasizing the deity of Christ.

How many verses in the Book of Mormon talk of Jesus Christ?

"Jesus Christ" is mentioned 64 times "Jesus" (not followed by "Christ") is mentioned 116 times "Christ" (without "Jesus") is mentioned 302 times Please note that Jesus Christ is mentioned hundreds if not thousands of times in the Book of Mormon by other names, such as "Messiah", "Son of God", "Redeemer", "Lord", "Lamb of God" and "Jehovah". I didn't count any of those. In a broader sense, every verse in the Book of Mormon is about Jesus Christ, since the entire book is meant to be "Another Witness of Jesus Christ". The Book of Mormon is a testimony of the faithfulness of God and the divinity and necessity of Jesus Christ as our Savior.

What is the name of the thing that Jesus died on?

Jesus died on a cross. He was crucified, so they refer to a replica of the cross with Christ's body on it as a crucifix. Note: In the Catholic church, they depict Christ on the cross, but most other Christian religions do not to emphasize it on the cross because Christ rose from the dead.

Why do you wish you could be in heaven so badly?

On a personal note: To see our Savour Jesus Christ face to face to thank Him for dying for me that I might have life abundantly. To know that my work here will be done and that my eternal life shall be in peace without tears or sorrows.

If someone is speaking with you and they say they think they've just discovered their salvation what does this mean?

Christians believe Jesus Christ died on the cross to save humans from their sins and to give all humans "salvation". When a person (quote) "accepts Christ into his or her heart", this means discovering salvation. It is important to note that different denominations have different beliefs about Jesus Christ and about how one gains "salvation". It is also important to note that non-Christian groups have other beliefs about their God and the way to live a godly life. Atheists argue there is no God and that "salvation" is only our own efforts to achieve a satisfactory life.

What is Jesus like?

In the accounts of the Gospels: Matthew, Mark, Luke and John much is learned about the person of Jesus Christ. Yet, ultimately, all of Scripture revolves around Christ. Note in Revelation 19:10 it tells us: "The testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy (Scriptures)." Yet Jesus was the Son of God, kind, loving, FORGIVING, compassionate, gracious, just....etc. His love to us was the highest form, as He said, "Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends." John 15:13.
