You're on the shot and haven't used protection other than the shot and you have some pregnancy symptoms and you've taken a home pregnancy test and its negative should you get your blood tested as well?

If you have only just started on the shot it may give you similar symptoms to pregnancy as that is the effect it is supposed to have, it fools the body into thinking it is pregnant so you don't ovulate. You could get your blood tested to reassure you. IF you want to be extra sure then yes. Sometimes poeple don't do home pregancy tests correctly and can often get incorrect readings. If you want to be extra sure whether you did the test correctly or not, then yes I would recommend you getting tested by a qualified doctor.

if a pregnancy test is positive, then there is a big chance that you may be pregnant. if you havent had any intercourse without protection then you shouldn't worry.

It may be your birth control if you are taking any they cause irregular periods.

well, depends how far away your period is. you can get tests which detect up to 4 days before your period is actually due, but if this proves negative then wait till your period is due if you havent come on then take another test. dont think theres much more you can do other than what ive said, as if you go to the doctors they will tell you to wait and see if your period starts. hope that was helpfull. ps. the early detection pregnancy test is called "first response"

Checking with your doctor is always best. It could just be that you are not experiencing any symptoms of pregnancy such as morning sickness and tender breast because there is a family history of easy pregnancies. Ask your mother, sisters and Aunts how they felt when pregnant.

if you havent missed your period than you are most likely not pregnant, but there are such things as false negatives on pregnancy tests and around 2 months is the time frame for those to be common. The symptoms however, you normally wouldn't be feeling most of those this early in a pregnancy, it could be your diet causing the problems.
