Any time you have unprotected sex there is a chance you will become pregnant. Depending on the timing of your intercourse and ovulation the chances go up and down. Having sex about a week before your period is at the tail end of your fertility timeframe, and you can still have your period and be pregnant. You probably should see a doctor about a blood test to see if you are pregnant.
