It is possible that your health care provider will be able to detect your pregnancy on an ultrasound as early as your fifth or sixth week of pregnancy. However, the sac containing your baby and its heart is so small at this stage that it will probably be difficult to detect. Sometime around the 8th week of pregnancy is the best time to start being able to see your baby on an ultrasound.
Im not sure but i went to the doctor two week ago and had a ultra sound done they could tell that i was pregant and said i was 8 weeks.

On an ultrasound scan, it is possible but unusual. However, it can sometimes be that if the fetus is very small, it's difficult to distinguish it from the developing placenta and the walls of the womb.
From an external point of view, a woman would not normally develop a pregnant belly this early in her pregnancy.
At this point in the pregnancy, you should still see a gestational sac. You may however not see a fetal pole or a heartbeat and that is normal for another week or so.
usually the cardinal activity starts in 8th week,, its too early to be worried about this.. get another ultrasound in after week 8.

The best and most reliable way to confirm a twin or multiple pregnancy is to see it with an ultrasound. An ultrasound is the only guaranteed way to know whether you're carring more than one baby. An ultrasound may be able to detect multiple embryos as early as your third week of pregnancy; However, the ultrasound will be most reliable at detecting a multiple or twin pregnancy at around 6 to 8 weeks.
It is absolutely impossible not to see SOMETHING on an ultrasound at 3 months pregnant. Pregnancies are most commonly confirmed without question at around 8 weeks pregnant. So, given the ultrasound is done by a qualified technician, there is no way you could miss a pregnancy that is 3 months along.
my step sister had a baby and she had her first ultra sound at 2 months so yes i believe it's still early. Actually I had an Ultrasound done at 5 weeks and 5 days. They were able to see the sac, baby and pick up the heart beat at 122 bpm. So no, it it not too early to get an ultrasound.
The only sure way of knowing you are pregnant with twins is by ultrasound. An ultrasound at 8 weeks would show if you were carrying a multiple pregnancy.
The baby is not a foetus yet. The 12 week scans always show a foetus. Never will an 8 week scan show a foetus, the pregnancy is 9 months because it has to grow.
Either 8 to 12 hr it all depends on where u work.

If there is no heartbeat by 8 weeks then you should schedule an ultrasound to make sure the baby is healthy. If you already had an ultrasound then chances are you might miscarry. There is no medical treatment to keep you from miscarrying, and it isn't your fault in anyway if that is the case so don't blame yourself and keep trying.
