Did you help me or not
Depends. As a teacher when a student asks for help I take into account if they have attempted the assignment or if they have paid attention in class while I was teaching it. Many students use this a way to NOT do the work in class and to cause a problem. I respect the student who tries and just doesn't get it, but the student who whines, complains, and doesn't even attempt to do what they are given I won't help. They really aren't interested in learning.
1. Teacher should be well qualified 2. should have the ability to understand the student view 3. should not be aggresive 4. should have patience.
If a student is having trouble with tests, schoolwork, or homework, the teacher or parents should suggest tutoring, extra help from the teacher, or the student could get help from the parents, should they be good in that area of school. Centering a student out by giving them a different test than the rest of a class is embarressing, and students might feel compelled to do even worse in that subject.
A violin teacher helps to teach a student how to play violin. A violin teacher helps a student with technique and selecting repertoire. He/she is always positive and encouraging to help the student grow musically.
A teacher can a handle a weak student by encouraging them to be a better student. The teacher shouldn't focus so much on the child's weakness, but focus on the child's strengths. Give that child positive reinforcement. The child probably believes he or she is a weak student and therefore, may be behaving under what he or she thinks a weak student should do. The child just needs to believe that he or she is in many ways, a strong student; not just a strong student, but a strong person. The teacher should be patient with that student. The teacher should also not forget about the child's weaknesses. The teacher should uncover that child's weaknesses and help those weaknesses by utilizing the child's strengths to deal with them. Even if it takes one-on-one time, the teacher should do whatever he or she can do to let that child know that he or she is in a least restrictive environment. The child should not feel as though he or she is totally different from the rest of the students in a bad way. They should know that everyone is different and that those differences make us who we are.

In your opinion, did your teacher do a good job teaching you new material. Did they explain the information so you understood it. Did they help you when you were confused or help you find another way to solve the problem?
Assuming the student is a lot younger than them, it may be looked on as wrong because of the large age gap. Also, being a teacher means you should be professional, and having a crush on a student may make you more unprofessional. However, I suppose people can't help who they have crushes on. But teachers definitely shouldn't get romantically involved with a student.
