It depends on the type of BC you are on. If Seasonale, I would recommend taking the placebo pills until menstruation is finished. I would also recommend contacting your physician because irregular periods are likely to occur more often. Seasonale is not a very popular BC pill amoung physicians because it is better for the female body to shed it's endometrium (menstruate) more frequently than Seasonale allows.
When you take 28-day birth control, you get a fake period from the hormone levels in your body. Scientists have found this is fine for your body, and will not hurt you.
Usually, skipping a period while on HORMONE birth control happens when someone is sexually active and/or missed a dose. Sometimes, though, hormonal birth control can cause an imbalance and cause a person to skip a period. Get a pregnancy test. If, on the other hand, you were talking about barrier methods, such as condoms or diaphrams, and you skip a period you should get a pregnancy test. Either way, take a pregnancy test.
you can i dont think it will do much good though
The endocrine gland itself is not a hormone, though secretes hormones.
i wouldn't think so.. if it's dark red or a maroon colour than i suggest you check with a doctor though
Testosterone is considered an important male hormone. Though females have it also.
Hi, Yes birth control will cause your period to stop within 48 hours.
Yes, as soon as you stop that close to the final 28 days of pills your period will start. You can manipulate your pills that way. When I was on them I would do that. It seems like you are forgetting your pills. To avoid doing that start taking them the same time every day.
No, Love is an emotion not a hormone. Some hormones may cause someone to feel loving though.
Birth control pills won't make any lasting change in your hormones; when you stop using them, you will return to your previous hormonal and menstrual pattern. While using the birth control pill, though, your hormone levels will become more even and predictable. For some women with abnormally low or high hormone levels, this use of birth control hormones can have significant disease-prevention benefits as well as prevention of unintended pregnancy.
Yes, if your hormone level drops it can cause you to have a misscarriage. Don't know if it can accelerate it though.
generally not. birth control takes about a month to work. certain kinds are made to stop your period but others contain a week of blank pills (pills without a hormone) to allow your period to happen once a month, even while your birth control is in effect. for some people, like me, it stops your period anyway though. sometimes you have to switch different brands to see which one is right for you.
